Ted’s

Ted’s

Last week, Hugh and I had a chance to spend a few days with a couple of friends, colleagues, and strategic missional leaders. Alan Hirsch – on the front right is one of the founders of Forge Australia and an author of three of my most highly recommended books (the newest of which is ReJesus). Lance Ford in the left corner is a church planter and coach that has started an entire online networking and training website called Shapevine.

During our time together, we solidified our commitment to serve in the development of a broad based missional movement, which will result in a number of partnering arrangements with Missio – the details of which will be announced in the next few weeks.

    Matt,
I just tried to get onto Hugh’s blog site, and got some hieroglyphic page that is totally undiscernable for an archaic old duffer like me. I wanted to greet everyone at Adullam and wish you all a most Merry Christmas, as we all celebrate our Lord’s birth. Having grown up in Nebraska and lived most of my adult life in Minnesota, let me tell you it is wonderful to have that celebration where no jacket is required!
You and Hugh changed my life with your book, and getting the opportunity to join with you at your gathering in early November really moved me. Our daughter and her husband, Chelsea and Nathan Forsythe, have been coming to the gatherings and are looking to form a village. I am praying for them.
Congratulations to you and your wife on the new arrival in your home.
I love your whole community and lift you up in my prayers. May God bless your community and your family this Christmas season.
Pass this along to Hugh, Ryan, et. al.
    The old geezer from Arizona,
    DAVE
